The building that is now known as 24th Street Cafe was originally opened as Cy’s Coffee Shop in 1950. 24th street Cafe was established in 1987 by Mark Huggs a local third generation restaurateur. 24th Street Cafe has always been a happy place for hungry people!

Coffee Cantina is a cozy locally owned coffee shop that is a great escape from the usual Southern California chains with heavy relief on your wallet. It has a great atmosphere and friendly staff; this is definitely a spot worth recommending.






Luigi's Delicatessen is a family orientated restaurant with exceptional service, food, and wine and is a great representation of Bakersfield's finest family owned business' since 1911. Covenant Community Services and Covenant Coffee are proud to be working alongside Gino and his team.






Dagny's is a great coffee shop with a history of hiring former foster youth at their smaller location on 18th street. It has a welcoming atmosphere and an invitation to relax inside or out on the patio. They have wonderful scones and delicious salads and sandwiches, and they even have live music for local bands every Wednesday and Saturday evening. I couldn't think of a hotter spot than this for our coffee.






Valentine's is a delectable and elegant restaurant with a top notch wine selection in an intimate and cozy wine cellar atmosphere. This restaurant is impressive with fresh menus and an east-coast influence; however, it keeps a low profile. The restaurant might put a dent in your wallet but the experience is worth its weight in gold and Covenant Coffee only adds to its flair.
